Sgraffito Piping Plover Plate

 
A wheelthrown plate decorated with carved Piping Plovers. Approximately 8.5” in diameter, 1.5” tall. Black, White and Blue slips were applied and then carved to reveal the image set against the rich brown clay. Clear glaze on the interior, Cream glaze on the exterior. One of a kind piece.
