A two piece wheel-thrown butter dish decorated with Guinea Hens and looping flowers. Approximately 5” tall to top of knob, plate is 6" in diameter. Red, Black and Lilac slips were applied then carved away to reveal the image. Clear glaze on the exterior, Lilac glaze on the interior of the dome and exterior of the plate. One of a kind piece.
