Carved Wasp Teapot
Approximately 6" tall to tip of knob, 8" from spout to handle, with a 2.25" opening. The body was thrown on the wheel in one piece, with the lid cut when leather-hard. The wheel-thrown spout and pulled handle were then attached. There is a stylized wasp carved on one side of this beautiful teapot. The entire teapot is glazed in Acai matte, inside and out. One of a kind piece made on the wheel with stoneware clay.
