Approximately 6.25" tall to tip of knob, 9" from spout to handle, with a 3.25" opening. The body was thrown on the wheel in one piece, with the lid cut when leather-hard. The wheel-thrown spout and pulled handle were then attached. There is a bonsai tree carved on both sides of this beautiful teapot. The details are glazed in Firebrick, Temmoku and Seaweed. The entire teapot is glazed in Gloss Black, inside and out. One of a kind piece made on the wheel with stoneware clay.
