Mackerel Butter Dish
Approximately 5" tall to top of handle, 6" diameter plate. Wheel thrown two piece butter dish in stoneware clay. Black and blue slips were applied and then carved away to reveal the fish images. Clear glaze was then brushed on the exterior of the entire piece, Ocean blue glaze inside. One of a kind. Fits a half block of butter.
